The Impact Project is a public exploration of how impact is being made in communities, cities and countries around the world. It is a multi-year initiative developed by Western University to gather insights from those pursuing change on the front lines.

Drawing from the global Western University community, we will be sharing lessons of impact from a remarkably diverse range of individuals who are collectively contributing to change at all levels of civil society – in Canada and around the world.

From students to business executives, researchers to policy-makers, artists to educators, entrepreneurs to health-care leaders, The Impact Project will be looking for answers to how each of us can more effectively make a difference in the world.

We hope that you will use The Impact Project as a resource, a source of inspiration and a vehicle for encouraging positive change in our world, today. It is an open dialogue and community effort. We encourage you to get involved by following, sharing and telling us your own stories of impact.

Thank you to all of the Western community members who have shared their stories in the first year of the project. Stay tuned as we continue to uncover what it takes to make positive change.
